About the Medford Community Chorale

About the MCC

The Medford Community Chorale is directed by Betsy Pesce. Holly Zagaria is our accompanist.

The Medford Community Chorale (MCC), which was formed in November 2019, provides performance opportunities in the art of choral singing for residents of Medford and surrounding communities. The MCC has already grown to 59 members, and we always welcome new members!

The Chorale, which presents choral performances to the public twice a year, gave its first public performance at the Medford (MA) Inauguration at the Chevalier Theatre on January 5, 2020. When the Chorale resumes rehearsals at the end of January (in preparation for our Spring Concert on May 31, 2020), we will be adding a youth chorus — which welcomes youth singers, Grade 2 and up, who will be featured in the upcoming Spring Concert.

The Chorale also plans to perform at nursing homes & other special community events.

    • Hi Paula — My apologies in taking so long to get back to you. We’ve had three in-person rehearsals, but we’re early enough in the process that you’re more than welcome to jump in! We rehearse Wednesdays at 7 pm at the McGlynn Middle School in Medford MA. If you’re still interested, please contact Betsy Pesce at elizabethpesce@comcast.net. Thanks! ~ Julie
