CALLING ALL YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULT SINGERS! đźŽ¶

Rehearsals for the Medford Community Chorale Youth/Young Adult Chorus 2026 fall season begin on Wednesday, September 9th!  

Rehearsals take place on Wednesday evenings (from 6 to 7 PM for youth/young adult chorus (7 to 8:30 PM for full chorus) at First Baptist Church on 29 Oakland St (off Salem Street) in Medford Square.

No auditions required; the only requirement is a love of singing!  At this time, there are no dues for members.  New members are always welcome, and we hope some of you will consider joining us (and, of course, adults are welcome to join the full chorus as well!).

We will be presenting, on Friday, December 4th, at 7 PM, our 2026 holiday concert, entitled, “The Very Best Time of Year”, which will benefit The Walnut Street Center here in Medford, whose mission is to empower adults with intellectual disabilities to live engaged and meaningful lives, by offering person-centered support services that provide opportunities to live, work, volunteer, and socialize within the community.

…FRIDAY, May 8th at 7pm in the Caron Theatre, Medford High School (489 Winthrop Street, Medford)

The Medford Senior Center is graciously providing transportation for seniors to and from the concert, leaving from the Senior Center.  Please call 781-396-6010 to sign up.

Admission is FREE (although contributions toward the ongoing expenses of the Chorale are greatly appreciated). Plus: there will be some great raffles!

A Restaurant Fundraiser at The Ford Tavern HAS BEEN POSTPONED and now will take place on Monday, March 9, to benefit the Medford Community Chorale & Youth/Young Adult Chorus (please see attached flyer).

The fundraiser is valid from 3PM to 10PM at The Ford Tavern, on 61 Locust Street here in Medford (across from Wegman’s), and includes both dine-in and takeout/online orders. The Ford will donate 10% of the proceeds from ALL FOOD PURCHASES THAT DAY back to the chorale! 

Please mark your calendars(!), and invite your family and friends, neighbors and coworkers and enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner at The Ford Tavern (or in the comfort of your own home!) on Monday, March 9,, between 3 PM and 10 PM, and help support the Medford Community Chorale & Youth/Young Adult Chorus.

Rehearsals take place on Wednesday evenings (6 to 7PM for youth/young adult chorus and 7 to 8:30PM for full chorus) at First Baptist Church on 34 Oakland St (off Salem Street) in Medford Square. 

No auditions required; the only requirement is a love of singing!  At this time, there are no dues for members.  New members are always welcome, and we hope some of you will consider joining us! 

We will be presenting, on Friday, May 8th at 7PM, our 2026 spring concert, entitled, “You Are My Inspiration”, which will benefit The Medford Youth Center, whose curriculum addresses all aspects of Youth Development, offering carefully planned activities to ensure that children have a safe environment to grow socially, physically, and cognitively.
