From Betsy —

Good evening everyone!

I hope you are all enjoying the beginning of summer.

A couple of our talented chorus members are going to be performing in the area next month, and I wanted to give you all a heads up and the information, in case you would like to attend either or both performances!

Wednesday July 20th 6 PM

Wilmington Commons (Across from the HS)

HS address:

159 Church Street, Wilmington MA

OUTDOOR performance • Bring lawn chairs, blankets, and umbrellas in case of rain.

Free admission but concessions will be available for purchase.

Show goes until 7:30 with a 15 minute intermission

2 • Mark Torgerson (bass and guitarist), and four talented fellow musicians we will be performing “Jazz Standards with a Latin Flavor” at the Charlotte and William Bloomberg MEDFORD Public Library on Thursday evening, July 21st, from 7 to 8:30 PM (please see attached flyer).

Two great ways to spend a summer evening!

MCC in the community. (Past event.)

🎶 On Wednesday, June 8th, the Medford Community Chorale presented a ‘mini’ version of our May 20th concert. We performed for a very enthusiastic audience at Medford MA Senior Center, 101 Riverside Ave. 🎶

It was not the full Chorale, but a solid contingent, led by our music director, Betsy Pesce, and our accompanist, Dr. Holly Zagaria.

Thanks to all for a wonderful concert!

From Betsy:

We were thrilled to be able to present our first live public performance in nearly 2 years this past Friday evening (Dec 10) at the Caron Theatre at Medford High School!

Many thanks to all those who helped make this special event – “Jingle All the Way” – possible … our chorus members, parents, musicians, Medford Public Schools staff members … and of course, our generous sponsors. Thanks, also, to the 300+ folks who came out to support us by attending the concert! We are so grateful to all of you.

Looking forward to a spring concert in May!
