Sam Stanley was nominated for the Kennedy Center performing Arts Actors award. She will compete regionally and then hopefully nationally in Washington DC. The nomination is a big deal and she is a Freshman! She received first nomination from the committee.

A couple of members asked where they could find the YouTube channel for the First Baptist Church of Medford (MA) — whose music program is led by our own fabulous accompanist and vocal coach, Dr. Holly Zagaria. One of our newer members, Anthony Pilcher, performs an amazing solo with the chamber quartet.

Please join us on May 5th at 7 pm in the Caron Theater at Medford (MA) High School for our Medford Community Chorale Spring 2023 concert, titled “From Brahms to Broadway.”
We will also have about 20 great raffle prizes at the concert as a fun way to support the Medford Community Chorale.
A portion of the proceeds from our concert book will be donated to the Disabled American Veterans organization.

Malden High School’s Junior Varieties 2023 will feature two of our more versatile vocalists, Alyssa Littlejohn and Erica Littlejohn.
Alyssa Littlejohn will be singing a duet with one of her friends, and she and Erica Littlejohn will be performing a piano duet!
The shows are: Friday, March 10 at 7:00 pm and Saturday, March 11 at 6:00 pm
Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door (All ticket sales will support the Class of 2024.) Both shows will take place at Malden High School Jenkins Auditorium.

Got an update regarding my drum show. The venue looks very small and now the director of “School of Rock” is asking all members of the band to invite only 2 people per guest which means we can’t have as huge a crowd as I thought. I know this is unfortunate news. Optimistically, please spread the word to the chorus members that, if they would like, they can at least access my performance live on Facebook at “School Of Rock Watertown”.
