Sneak Peek: The MCC and Youth / Young Adult Chorus Rehearsal
The Medford Community Chorale and Youth / Young Adult Chorus (MCC) rehearse “Rockin’g’ Around the Christmas Tree / Jingle Bell Rock” for their 2022 holiday concert –- “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” –- which will take place on Friday, December 2, 2022, at 7 PM in the Caron Theatre in Medford (MA) High School. (Director: Betsy Pesce. Accompanist and Vocal Coach: Dr. Holly Zagaria)

Members of the MCC youth/Young adult chorus rehearsing for the upcoming concerts. ![]()
The Medford Community Chorale — headed by director Betsy Pesce and accompanist and vocal coach Dr. Holly Zagaria — will perform at the Caron Theatre in Medford (MA) High School on December 2, 2022 at 7 pm.
They will also present a concert the next day, Saturday, December 3rd, at 5:30, in conjunction with the Jingle Bell Festival.

I just want to let you all know that our friend Gia (Greene) and her group, “Mixed Generations” are going to be doing a benefit concert – all ” oldies”! – at the Knights of Columbus in Arlington next Saturday, November 12 at 7 PM. A few of us this saw “Broadway Returns to Glen Magna Farms” this past summer. The music and singing was fabulous! This time around, MCC accompanist and guru of all things music, Dr. Holly Zagaria, and the cast will perform at the Larcom Theatre, 13 Wallis Street, Beverly, MA 01915 — on Sunday, October 23, 2002, at 4 pm. (Tickets $30 / $30)
New ‘alto’ notes for soprano twos

Attention Soprano 2s — Here are our new notes for measures 92 to 93 of “Angels Carol.” (Page 13, middle, after the key change.)
The note sequence is: F G F F F G A. (The last two notes in measure 93 are the original soprano 2 notes.)
And if you don’t have a piano or other instrument to find the notes — I think I got ’em right — I use “Pocket Pitch” on my iPhone.
